Throughout the school year, students from across the CAST Schools Network will continue to work directly with best-selling author, Lorenzo Gomez III, to finish transforming Tafolla Toro, Three Years of Fear, into a play.
Workshops will be hosted on Saturday’s once a month:
Upon completing writing the play, students will be invited to audition for the CAST or to join the crew to prepare for a full performance in August 2022.
The Centers for Applied Science and Technology (CAST) Network is a tax-exempt organization as described in Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service code. CAST Schools are partnership schools with a focus on STEM careers, project based learning and work-based learning. Key partners include public school districts, higher education institutions, and local employers from target industries.
