ALA is open to students in Pre-K to 12th grade

As a professional development school for Trinity University, education faculty at the college help facilitate the curriculum design.

ALA uses the RULER approach to teaching social and emotional learning that was created by the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence.

ALA employs design thinking as a major pillar of its educational philosophy, which uses empathy to understand the needs of real people and understands that problems seldom have one perfect solution.

ALA offers college prep opportunities like AP and dual-credit courses, and extracurricular programs like newspaper, gardening, and art.

CAST Tech’s campus is located in downtown San Antonio.

Students enrolled in CAST Tech will follow one of three pathways: business, technology and user experience (UX)

Students prepare for careers in coding, cyber security, gaming, entrepreneurship, business, and more

CAST Tech students can earn two years of college credit and industry certificates

CAST Tech is for incoming 9th, 10th and 11th graders who are comfortable using technology, are goal-oriented and responsible, and committed to real-world experiences such as internships

CAST Tech welcomed 150 students for its first class in Fall 2017 and will grow to 600 students at capacity

CAST Tech is an in-district charter within San Antonio ISD. Higher education partners include San Antonio College and the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Higher education partners include Palo Alto College and Texas A&M-San Antonio.

CAST Med is located at Brooks on San Antonio’s South Side in a state-of-the-art facility that will support the students’ learning experience.

With a focus on three major pathways: biomedical research, medical professions, and public health, students kick-start a promising career in the medical field.

CAST Med welcomed its first class in August 2019 with a 9th grade cohort of 150 students.

Open enrollment will be available not only to students from SAISD, but to students throughout Bexar County as well.

CAST Lead opened its doors in East Central ISD in August 2020

CAST Lead partners with the most distinctive San Antonio brands in food, entertainment, travel and retail.

Possible careers in these industries include Fashion/Food Retail Leadership, Event Planner, Web Developer, Creative Director of ECommerce, Store manager, Visual merchandiser, and many others
