Career-connected learning at CAST Schools provides a range of opportunities for all students to connect their learning to real-world needs. These opportunities are co-created in partnership with employers and encourage youth to build professional relationships, engage with industry experts, and develop a network of contacts that can support their future careers. Career-connected learning also offers leadership development opportunities through internships, projects, and collaboration with industry leaders.
Partnering with leaders like you will help accelerate a student’s pathway from school to career, and more importantly, create systems of learning that can be adopted by other schools and districts across our city and state. The Centers for Applied Science and Technology (CAST) Network is a tax-exempt organization as described in Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service code. CAST Schools are partnership schools with a focus on STEM careers, project based learning and work-based learning. Key partners include public school districts, higher education institutions, and local employers from target industries.
