Career-connected learning at CAST Schools provides a range of opportunities for all students to connect their learning to real-world needs. These opportunities are co-created in partnership with employers and encourage youth to build professional relationships, engage with industry experts, and develop a network of contacts that can support their future careers. Career-connected learning also offers leadership development opportunities through internships, projects, and collaboration with industry leaders.

The Centers for Applied Science and Technology (CAST) Network is a tax-exempt organization as described in Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service code. CAST Schools are partnership schools with a focus on STEM careers, project based learning and work-based learning. Key partners include public school districts, higher education institutions, and local employers from target industries.
