Nicole Ayala

Partnership Coordinator
Advanced Learning Academy
San Antonio ISD

“I’m excited for the opportunity to help students explore their passions and find their future careers through experiential learning.”
Nicole began her teaching career in San Antonio ISD as a Teach For America-San Antonio corps member at Davis Middle School on the historic Eastside. She earned her bachelor’s degree at The University of Georgia and obtained her master’s degree in educational leadership at Trinity University. Nicole has worked as an Assistant Principal for 7 years in both public and charter school settings. Nicole was privileged to begin her career in educational leadership at the Advanced Learning Academy in 2016, its founding year. There, she was afforded the unique opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of an innovative PK-12 school model. It was a transformational learning experience that has now become a full-circle moment as she returns to the campus as its Partnership Coordinator.
