Website CAST Schools
Job Summary: We are seeking a student intern interested in web design. The ideal candidate will have an interest in learning user-centered design principles, as well as the ability to create visually appealing and engaging web pages that meet the needs of our users. The web designer will work closely with the CAST Schools marketing team to create responsive, user-friendly websites that align with our brand guidelines and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize wordpress to design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly web pages
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new website features, functionality, and content.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to identify opportunities for website improvement.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and ideas to stakeholders.
- Optimize website performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Ensure website design and content meet accessibility and web standards compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design and development.
Qualifications:
- Current student in the CAST Schools Network
- Interest in exploring web design
- Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
- Communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of SEO and digital marketing principles is a plus
