ECISD Welcomes CAST Lead’s New Principal, Erica Jackson

On Friday, ECISD officially welcomed Erica Jackson as CAST Lead’s new principal. Below is their message to ECISD partners and families:

We are delighted to share an exciting update with our valued ECISD family. It is with great pleasure that we officially announce Ms. Erica Jackson as the new Principal of CAST Lead High School, effective immediately.

Ms. Jackson is no stranger to the CAST Lead community, having previously served as the interim principal. Her journey within our district is a testament to her unwavering dedication and exemplary leadership. Before stepping into her role as interim principal, Ms. Jackson contributed significantly as an assistant principal at CAST and, before that, as an assistant principal and math instructional facilitator at Legacy Middle School. Her passion for education and leadership was evident early in her career when she joined ECISD in 2015 as a math teacher. Further highlighting her commitment to educational excellence, Ms. Jackson was a proud participant in the inaugural cohort of our District’s Aspiring Principals Program, part of the “Leading the EC Way” initiative.

Ms. Jackson’s academic background is equally impressive; holding an MBA in Accounting and Finance and a BBA in Finance from the University of North Texas.

We are confident that under Ms. Jackson’s leadership, CAST Lead High School will continue providing a nurturing environment that fosters our students’ growth, learning, and success. Her vision and leadership are key to propelling our school forward, ensuring that our students are equipped to become the leaders of tomorrow.
