CAST Tech Hosts San Antonio Legacy Leaders for PBL Checkpoint

On Friday, CAST Tech continued its PBL theme of “Legacy” by hosting over a dozen local leaders to kick off their PBL Checkpoint. Leaders ranged from Senator Jose Menendez to Belarmino Castellanos, the current Vice President of Operations at P. Terry’s Burger Stand.

Earlier this school year, CAST Tech seniors launched their PBL with the theme of ‘Legacy’ and what kind of impact they want to leave on their communities. For the past several weeks, the seniors have been working tirelessly on researching solutions to issues they currently see in their city. And during the PBL checkpoint on Friday, the same seniors were now able to pitch researched solutions to community issues with these influential local leaders, and engage in a personal dialogue that may not have been possible before.
