JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited (4) year college or university OR 3-5 years experience in industry
- The candidate must have a satisfactory outcome from a fingerprinting background check.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This contract position will collaborate with the School Team and Sr. Partnership Director to build upon the CAST 6-12 college and career strategy to support the implementation of the Alumni Network, with an emphasis on career advising, navigation and support, and building opportunities for students who either do not attend college immediately after high school graduation, or who leave college.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Alumni Coordination
- Facilitate an annual plan to engage and build community with CAST Network Alumni.
- Identify opportunities to support alumni who either did not attend college immediately after high school graduation or who left college.
- Gather data about alumni, and incentives to encourage them to take advantage of opportunities and provide feedback.
- Engage with alumni on a regular basis via phone calls, surveys, face to face meetings.
- Execute a plan to onboard new alumni and reconnect with alumni who have not recently engaged.
- Convene and support the CAST Network Alumni advisory network.
- Promote and advocate for alumni through storytelling.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This is a grant funded contract position to run from when hired until the end of the CAST Schools fiscal year, June 30. Contractor will be expected to work 20-30 hours a week, and compensation will be adjusted based on estimated hours. Compensation does not include TRS or benefits. Depending on qualifications and experience the monthly pay will range from $3500-$6000 per month, with the first month prorated depending on estimated time worked.
Mental & Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, effective management and public relations skills, and ability to maintain emotional control under stress. Includes prolonged periods of sitting, walking, standing, bending, stooping, and occasional lifting of 40+ lbs. The job requires long periods of the arm, hand, and finger movement, and occasional district-wide travel.
