ALA Holds ‘Noche Musical de Los Muertos’ Event

Date

The Advanced Learning Academy held its Noche Musical de Los Muertos event on October 24th, 2024. This event celebrates the many aspects of what makes ALA the school it is today. The main programs the event showcased were the Mariachi, Dance, Band and Theater programs. Throughout the event, each of these programs showed the community their talent on full display. As you were inside enjoying the many different booths, you could hear the crowd cheer on the programs.

Inside, there was a community alter put together by Mr. Mallette, one of the teachers at ALA. Alongside it, there were booths from different clubs, councils, grades, and even the Euclid campus. Students had the opportunity to volunteer and take charge of these booths. For example, the Chemistry Club students were selling slime for the community to enjoy. The Art Club students were doing face painting. The 12th Grade Student Council were selling snow cones. These three booths and more showcased how student involvement and leadership is a core part of what ALA is.

Overall, the Noche Musical de Los Muertos event was a success for all within the ALA community. Not only did all of the booths have successful fundraising for their programs and clubs, but this event showed the many talented students who go to ALA. Whether it’s in live performances and taking charge as a student leader, everyone showcased their talents. The Noche Musical de Los Muertos event was fun for all and created lasting memories the ALA community won’t forget.
