Joshua Collins is an award-winning filmmaker with a background in public relations, educational outreach, and video production. Joshua is CAST Schools’ Communications Coordinator and Lead Storyteller, and his primary focus is to highlight student voice and the unique student experience that comes with each respective CAST school. Joshua earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and is currently studying at Saint Mary’s University in order to obtain his MBA. Today, Joshua is looking at how his skills behind the camera can best elevate the students at CAST schools.
The Centers for Applied Science and Technology (CAST) Network is a tax-exempt organization as described in Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service code. CAST Schools are partnership schools with a focus on STEM careers, project based learning and work-based learning. Key partners include public school districts, higher education institutions, and local employers from target industries.
