The FIRST Graduating Class from CAST STEM

Jocelyn, Xitlali, Alberto and Christian share their experiences as members of the first graduating class from CAST STEM High School. The school opened in 2018 in partnership with the Southwest Independent School District and the CAST Schools Network. At CAST STEM, students prepare for college and careers in engineering, advanced manufacturing and global logistics.

Through partnerships with industry leaders such as CPS Energy, H-E-B, Holt Cat, Toyota Motor Manufacturing , Texas, Caterpillar, and more, students gain authentic learning experiences that connect to real-world needs and build professional relationships so students can experience what they want to be.

CAST Schools are partnership schools with a focus on STEM careers, project based learning and work-based learning.
