CAST STEM allows students to explore careers in engineering, advanced manufacturing, and global logistics. Students learn to build and program robots, drones and electric cars and travel to competitions with teams.
The chance to experience a college setting during high school and to work directly with industry mentors set CAST STEM students apart and sets their future in motion, no matter where they decide to take it.
CAST STEM High School is a tuition-free public school created in partnership with the CAST Schools Network and Southwest ISD. The school is open to students across the greater San Antonio region who are entering 9th or 10th grade.

The Centers for Applied Science and Technology (CAST) Network is a tax-exempt organization as described in Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service code. CAST Schools are partnership schools with a focus on STEM careers, project based learning and work-based learning. Key partners include public school districts, higher education institutions, and local employers from target industries.
