CAST Med High School was created to add to the pipeline of much-needed doctors and researchers in the San Antonio area. Students enrolled in CAST Med will follow one of three pathways: Biomedical Research, Medical Professionals, or Public Health Professionals.
CAST Med High School is a tuition-free public school created in partnership with the CAST Schools Network and San Antonio ISD. The school is open to students across the greater San Antonio region who are entering 9th or 10th grade.

The Centers for Applied Science and Technology (CAST) Network is a tax-exempt organization as described in Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service code. CAST Schools are partnership schools with a focus on STEM careers, project based learning and work-based learning. Key partners include public school districts, higher education institutions, and local employers from target industries.
