Erik Nieves, CEO, co-founded Plus One in 2016 to bring robotics technology to the emerging market of warehouse automation. Today, Plus One’s AI-powered vision technology is found at major parcel couriers and warehouses across the globe performing robotic picking.

Prior to Plus One, Erik was Director for Yaskawa Motoman Robotics, a leading robot manufacturer, where he was responsible for the technology roadmap and emerging applications. During his 25+ year tenure at Yaskawa, Erik held a variety of leadership positions in the U.S. and abroad. 

Erik serves on the board of directors of the Association for Advancing Automation (A3) and is a frequent speaker and contributor to public policy on robotics.
