About CAST Schools Network:
The Centers for Applied Science and Technology is a 501(c)3 network of public-partnership schools working with San Antonio area independent school districts. The CAST mission is to reinvent schooling to maximize options for students, while preparing them for the jobs of the future. CAST has 7 schools in four school districts; the nonprofit is governed by a board representing industry and civic leaders. The nonprofit executive team is made up of the Executive Director, the Deputy Director, the Senior Partnership Director, Development Director and the Marketing and Communications Director.
Position Summary:
CAST Schools seeks a mission-driven, relationship-oriented Enrollment & Communications Project Manager to play a key role in supporting CAST Schools’ enrollment goals and increasing public awareness through integrated communications strategies. This position will manage outreach campaigns, coordinate with school teams and community partners, and drive cross-functional projects that enhance visibility and promote student recruitment and retention across our schools at CAST Schools Network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between the CAST Schools Network communications/marketing department along with each respective school leadership and district representative at CAST Lead, CAST Tech, ALA, CAST Imagine, CAST Med, CAST STEM and CAST Teach schools.
- Lead enrollment planning in partnership with school leaders, including setting timelines, milestones, and outreach targets.
- Design and implement student recruitment campaigns that reflect the CAST Schools Network mission, offering and values.
- Monitor application data and enrollment trends; adjust strategies based on analytics and school needs.
- Collaborate with external partners (e.g., school districts, community orgs, media) to promote CAST schools across diverse audiences.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (school staff, design/marketing vendors, communications, operations) to deliver enrollment and outreach projects on time and within budget.
- Plan and support community engagement events, school tours, and information sessions.
- Maintain brand consistency across all communications, ensuring alignment with CAST’s tone, vision, and values.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts.
- Maintain project documentation, timelines, and status reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, education, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in project management, enrollment, communications, or community engagement.
- Proven success in coordinating complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Canva/Adobe Suite, CRM platforms, and social media management tools.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in education, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Familiarity with San Antonio communities and public-school systems.
