CAST Teach High School
CAST Teach High School is San Antonio’s first school dedicated to careers in education. Created in partnership with Northside ISD, the CAST Schools Network, and the University of Texas at San Antonio’s College of Education and Human Development, the school rallies multiple industries to create future educators that will transform our community. The school works alongside students and families to identify and nurture their passions, while providing them with key skills relevant to careers in education, such as teaching, counseling, library studies, and coaching.
CAST Teach High School not only ensures students have a strong foundation in educational practices, but it also provides experiences in schools – side by side with mentor educators, coaches, counselors, and librarians.
Gain Authentic Learning Experiences
Students learn by doing and innovating in the classroom and beyond. Through project-based learning, students tackle projects related to real-world needs, and will leverage the newest technology actively used by industry.
Accelerate Your Pathway To College & Career
All students will have access to earn transferable college credits to include Dual Credit Courses from local colleges and universities. Additionally, students will earn industry-recognized certificates to minimize the cost of college and elevate their resume in the workforce.
Tuition-Free & Open To All
CAST Schools are tuition-free and open to students across the greater San Antonio region who are entering 9th or 10th grade. Our small class sizes provide our educators with the opportunity to meet students where they are, and co-create a plan for future success.
