CAST Lead Students Present to the East Central ISD Board of Trustees

CAST Lead students presented their award-winning project-based learning proposal, “Urgent Care Clinic for Low-Income Families,” to the East Central ISD Board of Trustees.

The team included sophomores:

  • Jalen Campos
  • Ereana Cruz
  • Noah Padilla
  • Gracie Polasek
  • Madilyn Resendez
  • Tyson Toscano

Their Servant Leadership PBL won, “Outstanding PBL Award,” as voted by their peers, educators, and industry partners. Their driving questions:

How do we provide equitable access to resources during times of crisis?

Along with Principal Wendy Fuller and Partner Development Specialist, Catelyn Vasquez, the team presented their research, strategies, and a model bus to show how their idea can benefit their community.

Students were award special recognition by the board of trustees.
