CAST Schools Network Part-Time Data Specialist (Intern)

Estimated 10-20 hours per week
Pay: $20-25/hour, depending on experience/qualifications

Open to CAST Schools Network Alumni only.

Responsibilities

Assist with consolidating, cleaning, and reformatting data to import into Salesforce
Help import student data into Salesforce and ensure the accuracy of the data
Take responsibility of all student data for one of our CAST Schools
Help plan the distribution and the content of the annual student surveys
Assist with analyzing our annual student survey results
Create reports and dashboards in Salesforce, Excel and Google Looker Studio
Send out data requests to school districts that serve our schools
Work with Data Coordinator on any ad hoc projects

Requirements:

Advanced Excel skills
Must have or be able to obtain a Texas State Drivers License or ID
Must be able to pass a background check
Currently working towards a degree or certificate in Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field

Helpful to have, but not required:

Salesforce experience- importing data, and creating reports and dashboards
Experience with Google Looker Studio

The part-time Data Specialist (Intern) will report to and work closely with the CAST Schools’ Data Coordinator and will work up to 20 hours per week. This will be a remote position and meeting times are flexible to fit with your school schedule. This is a temporary position with a possibility to extend the duration of the contract.
