Join CAST students for a celebration of storytelling and imagination as your favorite books come to life at The DoSeum!

Saturday, February 27 • 10 AM – 5 PM

Activities dedicated to poetry, art, reading, and science will be found throughout the museum.

Students from the Advanced Learning Academy, CAST Tech, and the World Flo Spoken Word group from CAST Network Schools will lead an interactive workshop on performance poetry, based on the current art installation Under One Sky.

As part of the festivities, renowned author Diana López will be on-hand to read a selection from her book Confetti Girl—the story of a young Latina girl growing up in southern Texas. Seats are limited for Diana López, please register here:

Our friends from the International School of San Antonio will introduce you to classics from around the world—read in Chinese, French, and Spanish—
Costumes encouraged—come dressed as your favorite family-friendly storybook character to receive a special treat. From wild things to wonderland, it’ll be an event for the pages.
