SUMMARY:Three Years of Fear Community Performance
DESCRIPTION:CAST Schools students will take the stage for the performance of Three Years of Fear\nFor five years\, CAST students have worked alongside local author and tech leader Lorenzo Gomez III to bring to life a play entitled Three Years of Fear adapted from Lorenzo’s book\, Tafolla Toro. This play addresses and offers strategies to navigate fear and anxiety through autobiographical stories of growing up on San Antonio’s Westside. DESCRIPTION:CAST Imagines invites students to imagine new possibilities in collaboration with their community and through conversation that relies on data\, expertise\, and creativity.\nApproximately one quarter of the Southside population under 65 is without health insurance\, and thousands of San Antonians are losing their Medicaid coverage due to the cancellation of pandemic-era expansion.  We believe CAST Med High School\, which was created to add to the pipeline of much-needed doctors and researchers in the San Antonio area\, can serve as a launching point for collaborative and creative ways to bridge healthcare and education. \n  \nRSVP CAST Imagines: Education and Healthcare at CAST Med\nThursday\, September 14th\, 2023\nFrom 1:30PM to 4:00PM
